Server Administration

 

Click on START > PROGRAMS > WYHLIDAL 2006 Dictionary Network Server

 

 

		Change language
		Importieren a WYHLIDAL 2003 - user dictionary
		Import a CSV dictionary
		Import a Star user dictionary
		Change system administrator settings
		Change connection settings (network only)
		Create client setup
		Enable user dictionary and disable user dictionary
		Enable Office integration and disable Office integration

Please import only data with this data structure. For safety, a preview is displayed when the file is opened. Once data records have been imported, they can only be deleted word-by-word in the client part.

 

To obtain a CSV file, your data must be available in Microsoft Excel. Click on "Save as" to save your data in the CSV format.

 

 

Star user dictionary import (WYHLIDAL 97/2000)

 

Please select the file userdic.tdb in the Wyhlidal program directory. For safety, a preview is displayed when the file is opened. Once data records have been imported, they can only be deleted word-by-word in the client part.

 

 

 

System administrator settings

 

Be sure to keep these settings updated as they will be displayed with all error messages.

 

 

 

Connection data (network version only)

 

If your server data changes, this information must be updated accordingly.

Please note that after any change in server data a new client setup must be generated and distributed to your users.

 

 

Client setup

The client setup is created in order to enable automated client installation.

Please set the parameters as required and click on "Create."

 

Network:

The Server directory now contains a Client-Setup.EXE file which you can distribute to your users.

Executing this EXE file will automatically install the program on the client.

Register by mail
The application will try to open your mail client and display an automatically created registration mail.

Enter activation number

You will receive a mail with your activation number. Enter this number to change WYHLIDAL 2006 into activated mode.
